The Mena Golf Team competed against Greenwood, Van Buren, and Lavaca on Monday. A total of 39 boys competed. Richie Davis and Marcus Graves were tied for a good portion of the match at 3 under. Richie finished as medalist with a final score of 68 and Marcus finished under for 2nd. As a team the Mena boys finished 3rd.
Chandler Dover lead the Ladycats with a personal record and a 7th place finish. Kinsey Mullen finished with a personal record at 14th .
The golfers all saw great improvement in their scores despite the heat and terrain. We are looking forward to playing at Waldron on Tuesday.
