The Mena Ladycats opened up the first round of the 2018 District Tournament, which is being hosted by Malvern this year, against Arkadelphia on Thursday. The Ladycats defeated the Lady Badgers 7-3 in nine innings, advancing to the second round of the tournament. The Ladycats will play at Malvern again today at noon.
