The Jr. Ladycat volleyball team traveled to Jessieville on Saturday, Sept. 24 to participate in the Jessieville Jr. Volleyball Tournament. The Ladycats (13-2) defeated Paris, Hot Springs, and Malvern in pool play without dropping a game. They entered the Tournament bracket as the top seed from their division. In the tournament, they defeated Arkadelphia 2-0 and Paris 2-1 to reach the final against Lakeside. They were defeated by Lakeside 2-0 and received the Runner-up trophy. Ladycats Gracie Lyle and Nicole Medlin recieved All-tournament honors for their outstanding play during the tournament. The Ladycats will next be in action on Monday, Sept. 26 against Lavaca at the Union Bank Center in Mena.
