First day of Harding Team Camp for Ladycat Basketball.

Mena Jr. High Cheer has completed their summer camp. The girls showed tremendous growth and learned many new skills. We are excited for what the 24-25 season has in store for us.

Day one of the Mena Youth Wrestling Camp! Camp continues from 5:15pm-6:15pm on Thursday and Friday in the UBC. Everyone age 7-14 years old are invited. The cost is $10.00 per session.

The Mena Bearcats played their spring football game on Thursday at Bob Carver Bearcat Stadium. The 2024 season begins on Friday, August 30th at DeQueen.

At the Arkansas Heptathlon Elliott Dugan of Mena finished 26th as a sophomore and 3rd overall in the state for high jump. In the decathlon Elijah Smith of Mena finished 18th out of 75 as a junior! Coach Rachel Dover and Randy Peters were selected as team leaders at the meet and coached girls from Cabot, Villonia, Dover, Siloam Springs, Lakeside, and Russleville!

Wednesday was the final day of the Little Cat Volleyball Camp!

The final night of the Little Ladycat Basketball Camp was Thursday in the Union Bank Center. There was a huge turnout of 1st-7th graders. GO LADYCATS!

The Juniors defeated the Freshman in the Powder Buff Championship Match 2-1 on Wednesday at the Union Bank Center. This is the third year in a row the Junior team has won the event. It was a fundraiser for the "Take What You Need Cart" at MHS.

Friday was Sr. Night as Mena soccer played their final game of the season at Bob Carver Bearcat Stadium. Seniors and their families were recognized in a ceremony prior to the games. Jocelyn Hernandez signed her letter of intent to run cross country at the University of Arkansas Rich Mountain on Friday in the Union Bank Center. Good Luck Jocelyn!!!

The Mena Bearcats will be the 2 seed in next weeks Conference Baseball Tournament. Mena will play the winner of the Clarksville/Pottsville/Waldron game on Thursday at 6:30pm. Go Bearcats!

JoJo Hernandez, 9th grade track athlete, earned high point at 5 out of the 6 track meets we attended and placed first in 20+ events this year. JoJo will go on to compete with the senior high team at the Conference Meet on Friday.

This was the final home game of the year and Mena took the opportunity to recognize it's lone senior, Brody Brown, for his contributions to the program.
