The Mena Jr. Ladycats are on their way home after a great week at the Licking Volleyball Team Camp in Branson Missouri. The Varsity Jr Ladycats made it to the semifinals of the tournament today and lost to Greenbrier. GO LADYCATS!!!

The Mena Bearcat Football Red & Black Scrimmage will be held on Thursday, August 12th at Bob Carver Bearcat Stadium. The scrimmage begins at 6:00pm, The Jr, High & 7th Grade Bearcats will also be recognized.

The Mena shooting sports team worked in some practice time on Wednesday afternoon. This is the first year for the program & these Bearcats can really sling the lead.
The Mena Bearcats hosted a team camp at Bob Carver Bearcat Stadium on Tuesday. Teams from Horatio & Dierks participated.. Mena will host another team camp on Thursday 7/22 & the annual parent meeting & family night will be Thursday at 6pm. Thge Bearcats will play a scrimmage game at Mansfield on August 17th & the season opener is on August 27th when they host DeQueen. GO BEARCATS!!!

Congratulations to 2021 graduate SAM EFIRD ! Sam will be attending Ouachita Baptist University & on Monday he signed his letter of intent to play baseball for the Tigers. Efird was an all conference performer for the Bearcats in baseball, football & basketball.

Bearcat coaches were "Tipping The Tank" at the Mena Wal-Mart on Saturday. TTT is a fundraiser for the Arkansas Children's Hospital.

2021 Mena High School graduate SAM EFIRD has been offered a baseball scholarship at Ouachita Baptist University. Sam will be signing with OBU on Monday, July 19th at 12:30 in the Union Bank Center. Efird was a multi-sport athlete at MHS. and earned all conference honors in baseball, basketball & football.
The Mena Jr. Girls have been competing in the Jessieville Team Camp on Wednesday & Thursday. Judging by those smiles they have had a successful outing... GO LADYCATS!!!!
