The Holly Harshman gym & Jim Rackley Gymnasium @ Mena Middle School are receiving an LED light makeover this summer.
The Mena School Board approved the hiring of Mr. Craig Bentley as the new head football coach at Mena High School on Tuesday night. Bentley has been the head coach at Mansfield High School. He is also a former assistant at Mena & a graduate of Mena High School.

Day 2 at the NWA Shootout & the Mena Jr. Boys went 2 and 0. The jr. varsity was 1 and 1. Overall at the camp the varsity was 5 and 0 and the jv was 4 and 2! Go Bearcats!
Mena Football went 5-1 at the Atkins 7 on 7 Shoot Out yesterday. The Bearcats defeated Bryant, Pine Bluff, Clinton, Paris & Dover... But were beat in the finals by Pine Bluff.. Go Bearcats!?

Mena cheerleaders received an outstanding rating and ribbon for their cheer and an excellent rating and ribbon for their Jam routine at the NCA Cheer Camp. They also received the Herkie Team Award for exemplifying the qualities of Leadership, values, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
