Governor Asa Hutchinson has proclaimed the week of February 1-5, 2021 as National School Counselor Week in Arkansas to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within the U.S. school system and how students are different as a result of what they do. Assistant Superintendent Dr. Lee Smith took the lead by getting his Covid-19 Vaccination today. Dr. Smith will begin his new position as Superintendent of Mena Public Schools in the 2021/2022 school year.

UAMS is conducting a Covid-19 Vaccine Clinic for teachers & staff of Mena Public Schools today. Nurse Bobbi from Mena High School was the first to receive the vaccine.
