Congratulations to the Mena Middle School Band! Tuesday they traveled to Vanburen to participate in the Region 8 Concert & Sightreading Assessment. The band scored a second division excellent rating from all Concert judges and a first division superior rating in Sightreading. Great job Mr. Huffman and the middle school band

Mena Theatre students performed "12 Incompetent Jurors" for 11th Grade English, 12th Grade English, AP Language & Literature as well as Business Law classes on Friday. Mena High School hosted the 2025 Special Olympics Basketball Skills Competition on Tuesday in the Union Bank Center. Athletes from Mena, Polk County Development Center, Cossatot River and Woodcrest competed. MHS students and community members helped coordinate the events and encouraged participants.

Mena High School athletes Elliot Dugan & Brynlee Bahr competed at the Arkansas Indoor High School Championships at the University of Arkansas on Saturday. Dugan finished 7th in the high jump and was 1st for 4A athletes. Bahr finished 7th in the pole vault and was 1st for 4A athletes.
