The Ladycats are competing at the Licking Volleyball Camp in Branson Missouri this week. Mena will play a benefit game on August 22nd against Van Buren in the Union Bank Center and the season opener is August 26th when they play Booneville in the UBC.

The Mena wrestling season is still months away but the team is already preparing. When the schedule is released it will be posted on Mena Public Schools social media and on the website at https://www.menaschools.org/o/athletics/athletics

The Bearcat Band drumline and color guard began preparations for the marching season on Monday. One of their first tasks was to unpack, hang and model the new uniforms for 2024.

Mena Middle School and Mena High School teachers engage in collaborative learning at the AIMs teacher training, enhancing their skills for the upcoming school year.

Preparations continue for the 2024-2025 school year. Mena FFA Advisors Cheyenne Bell and Chase McCormick are learning new skills at the Arkansas Career and Technical Education Summer Conference in the Benton Event Center & Saline County Career Technical Campus.

Jr. and Sr. teams from Cossatot, Dierks, and DeQueen participated in the Mena Basketball Team Camp in the Union Bank Center on Wednesday. The Mena Jr. Bearcats will play their 2024 season opener on November 11th at Cossatot.
