Congratulations Austin Rose and Jarrett Burger!! 1st place on Lake Ouachita in the Arkansas Youth Fishing Federation High School National Qualifying Tournament. This makes two wins in a row for Burger and Rose. They will be competing in the Trader Bills Championship April 25th on Lake Hamilton and the Bradford Cup AYFF Tournament on Greers Ferry the first weekend of May. Mena High School Juniors & Seniors participated in Polk County Operation Prom Night 2021 Friday morning. The event is an accurate representation of a two vehicle accident with fatalities. It was conducted at the Polk County Fairgrounds & was hosted by Southwest EMS, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Mena Police and Fire Dept, Polk County OEM, and Polk County Coroner’s Office.
