Mena Public Schools will be open on Tuesday, February 3rd and operate on a regular schedule.
Today’s warmer temperatures, along with the work of our maintenance teams, have significantly improved campus conditions. While a few slick spots may remain, our facilities are safer overall, and we ask everyone to use caution when arriving at school.
Bus routes are much clearer than earlier this week. However, we will continue to avoid roads that remain heavily iced to ensure the safety of our students and drivers.
Overnight temperatures are expected to remain well above freezing, which will allow for additional thawing and improved conditions by morning.
If road conditions in your area make travel unsafe, student absences will be excused. Parents should notify their child’s school if this applies.
