The Holly Harshman Elementary teachers and staff love reading, book talks, and sharing many of their favorite titles with you.
Mrs Holder has a special connection to the book she chose to share:
“Charlotte’s Web written by E.B. White was the first chapter book that my class ever read when I was in the second grade, and it sparked my love of reading! Now you can enjoy the book and even watch the movie to compare the two! In my opinion, the book will always be better!”

4th grade broke out their EV3 robots and will start programming next week!🤖
They also explored Bernoulli’s effects and how it relates to the lift forces we see in flight!

This week’s Teammate Award Winners at HHE are Brynleigh Garcia and Brantley Singleton.
Brynleigh will be the team captain at the Ladycat Volleyball game on Tuesday against Malvern
Brentley will be the waterboy at the Jr High Bearcat football game on Thursday.
Deputy Mike Underwood was in charge of Friday Enrichment this morning! 🌞He spoke to the kids about his job and shared a book as well! 📖

HUNTER DAVIS is the HHE Teammate Award Winner for this week. Hunter will be the water boy for the senior high football game on Friday night.

JAYDON ROWE and BRIAR KUBISH are HHE Teammate Award Winners for this week. Both girls will be Team Captains for the Senior High Volleyball match on Tuesday night.

The Mena Little Cats Cheer Camp was hosted by Coach Dover and the Mena Cheer Team back in July. On Thursday the campers got to cheer at the Bearcat Scrimmage Game held at Bob Carver Bearcat Stadium.
