Holly Harshman Elementary held their Ambassador Assembly on Friday morning. 2023-2024 Ambassadors were announced. The Holly Harshman Elementary Great Teammate Award Winners were team captains at the Sr. Ladycats volleyball game on Thursday.

🤝5th grade got some HANDS on learning about leadership today! 🤝It was so fun watching the leaders in the groups start to emerge as they tried to navigate their way through tangled ands and arms. 🤝We had lots of laughs and both teams were successful in untangle themes! 🤝After this, we had some time to reflect on what good leaders do and some of their qualities!

The Holly Harshman Elementary Great Teammate Award winners for this week are Niko Oxborrow, Rylan Vekre, Blaze Quiroz, Dawn Kelms and Maddy Webb. These students demonstrated a positive attitude, reliability, helpfulness, and willingness to learn.

HHE Great Teammate Award winners for this week were water boys for the Jr High football game on Thursday.

HHE Great Teammate Award winners for this week were captains for the Ladycat volleyball team on Thursday.

HHE Great Teammate Award winners for this week are Avori Gortemiller, Blakely Barker, Heather Anderson, Kairah Ortiz, Bo Starr, Carter Land, Fletcher Alley, Lucas McQuarrie. These students demonstrated a positive attitude, reliability, helpfulness, and willingness to learn. The boys will be water boys for the Jr High football game on the 21st, and the girls will be captains for the Ladycat volleyball team on Thursday the 21st or on Tuesday the 26th.

Lexia superstars!!

The Holly Harshman Elementary RISE Assembly was Friday morning. It was explained to students how the RISE philosophy should effect them on a daily basis. R- RESPECT I- INTEGRITY S- SAFETY E- EFFORT

HHE Great Teammate Award winners for this week are Kealin Austin, Karysn Tinnell, Averie McBride, Eliza Johnson, and Koleman Goodnight. These students demonstrated a positive attitude, reliability, helpfulness, and willingness to learn. The boys will be water boys for the Sr High football game on the 15th, and the girls will be captains for the Ladycat volleyball team on Thursday the 21st or cheering on the football sideline on the 15th.

5th grader Emmaly Dominquez and 3rd grader Faith Grogan were captains for the Ladycat volleyball team on Monday the 11th. Emmaly and Faith were the most recent winners of the Holly Harshman Elementary Teammate Award.

A shout out to these guys for helping deliver food bags and assist with recycling. Walker, Dillon, Dawson, Will, Trevor, and Josh.

The boys will be water boys for tonight's Jr High football game, and the girls will be captains for the Ladycat volleyball team on Tuesday.

Big shout out to the Mena Lioness club for their continued support for ALL Polk county students! Because of the Lioness our students are provided with food for the weekend that they may not have otherwise! Backpacks have also been provided this year as well as a freeze dried meal each week! Our community and future is brighter because of organizations such as the Lioness! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Lynus Campbell was the lucky winner of a $10 Cruizzers gift card🍔🥤🍦His name was drawn from all of Mrs Williams’ students that returned the “Back to School” paperwork completed…thank you parents!
