Juniors: Josten's will be at MHS at 9 a.m. on Wednesday December 2 to order Classrings. They will be set up in the PAC.
The final deadline to order a Senior Ad for the 2021 MHS Yearbook will be December 15. This is also the deadline to submit photos and wording for the ad design. For more information, see Mr. Philpot in Room 205.
FBLA and FCCLA will have a joint Christmas Party on Wednesday, December 2nd in the cafeteria during Enrichment. There will be an ugly Christmas sweater competition and a Gag Gift Exchange as well as snacks and drinks. Each member needs to bring a $5 gag gift.

According to Coach Randy Peters the Jr. & Sr. High basketball games scheduled for Tuesday 12/1/20 at Waldron have been cancelled. Also the Sr. High games against Monticello scheduled for Friday 12/4/20 have also been cancelled. The Jr. teams will play Trinity Christian at the UBC on Thursday 12/3 & the Sr. teams will plat at Hot Springs Lakeside on Tuesday 12/8.

The Mena football season came to a close Friday night at Bob Carver Bearcat Stadium. Mena lost the 1st round playoff game to Arkadelphia by a score of 34-7. The Bearcats finish the season with a record of 6-4 & a 4-4A Conference Championship.

The Mena senior boys basketball team played at Greenwood on Thursday. Greenwood won the JV game 36-22 & they also won the varsity game 61-27. Mena will play next on 12/1 at Waldron.
The local James K. Polk Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution awarded Mena Middle School teacher TOMMY JOHNSON with the 2020 Helen Pouch Memorial Fund Classroom Grant on Thursday.
They also awarded 2020 Mena High School Graduate, FAITH CHANEY, with her certificate as the DAR Good Citizen State Winner.
Mena High School midterm progress reports will be sent home with students today 11/19.

Friday - Bearcat Football will be hosting Arkadelphia tomorrow night at Bearcat Stadium in the second round of the 4A State Playoffs. Kickoff will be 7:00 p.m.
No food or drink or trash from Breakfast or Lunch should be thrown away in the restroom trash cans.
Students: Just a reminder NOT to open locked doors and let outside people in the building.
