The concert will open with the Sixth Grade Treble Makers followed by the Middle School Choir. The Spotlight Singers will then take the stage and the Bearcat Chorus will round out the program. Please plan to attend on Thursday, December 5, at 7 PM in the high school auditorium.

If your student wants to be a Bearcat you should know that the enrollment window for the second semester is now open. Forms can be picked up from the district you are currently attending. When you have completed those forms bring them to the Mena Public School Administration Building located at 501 Hickory in Mena. Forms should be filled out & turned in before noon on Tuesday, December 17th. If approved by the school board the student will begin classes on Monday, January 6th 2020. The Mena Ladycats pulled out the lone win for the home teams over Waldron at the Union Bank Center Tuesday night. The girls won by a score of 52-39. Mena lost the Jr. Boys game 32-38 & the Sr. Boys lost 24-61... The Sr. Teams will play again on Thursday against Shiloh in the Rich Mountain Bucks Classic....

The Union Bank Jr. Invitational began Monday at the Union Bank Center. Both Mena teams defeated Horatio. The Jr. Girls won 31-29 & the Jr. Boys won 60-14... The Ladycats will play the winner of the Cossatot/DeQueen game on Thursday at 5pm in the championship game. The Bearcats will face the winner of the Arkansas High/DeQueen game in the championship game on Tursday at 6:20pm. GO BEARCATS!!!

Recent freezing temperatures have exposed a need for coats in our student population & Mena Public Schools would like to thank Christine & Rodney Bird with Handcrafted Garden Bridges for their generous donation.
