We're less than a month away from Senior Picture Days with the Prestige group here at Mena High School for the Class of 2020! We're scheduled to have our Senior Pictures done on Monday and Tuesday, July 8 & 9, which will be held at the Mena High School safe room. Even if you don't plan to purchase any senior pictures with Prestige, we still need to have your pictures taken for yearbook purposes. Mr. Andy Philpot, MHS yearbook adviser, has the master schedule for the appointment times for the students. If you haven't already, you will be receiving your appointment card in the mail from the Prestige photography company.
The Mena Public Schools would like to congratulate the first graduate from the Polk County Virtual Academy. Pick up an enrollment form at the Mena Public Schools Administration Office, 501 Hickory Avenue, in Mena.
2020-2022 Football Conferences have been released by the Arkansas Activities Association. The Mena Bearcats will remain in the 4A-4 Conference.

Mena cheerleaders received an outstanding rating and ribbon for their cheer and an excellent rating and ribbon for their Jam routine at the NCA Cheer Camp. They also received the Herkie Team Award for exemplifying the qualities of Leadership, values, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
MHS Cheer Seniors received their Senior Ribbons and first Spirit Stick at the 2019 NCA Summer Team Camp in Hot Springs today.
Spirit Sticks are awarded to teams who display good sportsmanship, respect, work ethic, and kindness among other attributes.

Austin Johnston & Cason Cannon finished 10th in the first Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation Commissioners’ Cup. Invitations were extended to the top 20 two-person teams from each of six high school bass fishing tournament circuits around Arkansas.
