Announcements for Thursday, August 15th
We are aware that the intercom is not working in some areas of our school. These announcements will be emailed to the staff so that they can read them to you during ACHIEVE, if needed.
Any 7th grader that wishes to discuss a schedule change needs to place your name on the clipboard outside of Mrs. Rose’s office. Do this in between classes. 7th graders have until lunch today. It will be open to 6th graders today after Lunch “B.”
Reminder that if you turn all of your forms in by tomorrow, your name will be entered into a drawing to receive one of the nine free dance passes.
If you are interested in playing youth league soccer, the Mena Soccer Association has left registration forms in the front office.
There are also forms in the office to order yearbooks for this year.
Students, we encourage you to use a Sharpie and write your name or initials on such items as backpacks, lunch boxes, jackets.
Students please check to make sure you are using your assigned locker. We have had several students report that someone else’s stuff was in their locker.
Upcoming events:
Tomorrow: The Mena Jr High and Sr High football teams will hold a red/black scrimmage at Bearcat Stadium with the Jr High starting at 6:00 pm. There is no charge for this scrimmage game but everyone is encouraged to donate either powdered laundry detergent or Gatorade.
