Spotlight Singer Auditions will be held on Friday, August 13th
from 3:30pm-5:00pm. Those auditioning should come to room 203 at Mena High School. Please come prepared to sing a song of your choice, a cappella for 30 seconds.
PCVA chromebook pickup is available Tuesday from 9am-noon or Wednesday 1pm-5pm at Mena Middle School. All other pickups can be scheduled by emailing or calling Teresa Warner at the Middle School.

Monday was Fall Sports Picture Day for Senior High Cheer, Junior High Cheer, MHS Band, Senior High Football, Junior High Football, Senior High Volleyball, Junior High Volleyball.
The next Fall Sports Picture Day will be on August 23rd & will include MMS Band, Golf, Cross Country, 7th Grade Football, 7th Grade Volleyball, 7th Grade Cheer.

Mena High School is proud to be able to provide most of the school supplies needed this year for their students. We hope this relieves some of the financial burden of beginning school. If any additional supplies are needed, the students will be informed in their classes. GO BEARCATS!
The Mena Ladycats competed at the Lakeside volleyball team camp on Friday. Mena will play a benefit game at Van Buren on August 19th/ The Ladycats will host Waldron in the season opener on August 23rd. GO LADYCATS!!!

Earlier this week the Mena Public Schools asked patrons to participate in a survey. There were only 40 responses on the poll and 12 of those indicated they would participate in a vaccine clinic at the school. We have talked to health officials in town and the number of young people being vaccinated at the Health Unit and pharmacy is increasing so we encourage all of you who said 'yes' to the clinic to have our students vaccinated at those places. There is not enough interest to organize a vaccine clinic at the school. Thank you!
