The Mena Jr. High Girls & Boys defeated Arkadelphia Tuesday at the Union Bank Center.. The Ladycats won by a score of 41-24 & the Bearcats won by a score of 48-40. Both teams will be back in action on Monday 1/27/20 @ Malvern... GO BEARCATS!

Ravyn Wilson, a 4th grader from Holly Harshman Elementary School in Mena, made school counselor Vicky Maye’s day by sharing her poster for Maye’s office as they are gearing up for the Great Kindness Challenge Week. Ravyn stands in front of the school mascot sign “Bearcat Eyes Are Watching!” This positive behavior system encourages the students to spread kindness like confetti all the year through with no bullies allowed!!!

The Mena Bearcats led Nashville at the half Friday at the Union Bank Center but Could not connect on a shot at the buzzer & lost 41-43. Nashvillle also won the senior g irls game 46-29. Mena will play again on Tuesday 1/21 when the host Arkadelphia.
