Day 2 at the NWA Shootout & the Mena Jr. Boys went 2 and 0. The jr. varsity was 1 and 1. Overall at the camp the varsity was 5 and 0 and the jv was 4 and 2! Go Bearcats!

Mena School District Superintendent, Benny Weston, and a team of Mena administrators attended the annual Leadership Institute hosted by DMESC. Sessions included Exploring Our Leadership Intention, Section 504, Through the Eyes of Poverty, Suicide Prevention and Intervention, Tier 1 Training, and Legislative Updates-AAEA. Preparations continue for the 2019-2020 school year.
The Mena Jr. Boys Basketball varsity team went 3 and 0 today and the JV went 2 and 1 at the Northwest Arkansas Shootout in Fayetteville! The Bearcats will play again on Thursday. Go Bearcats!

We're less than a month away from Senior Picture Days with the Prestige group here at Mena High School for the Class of 2020! We're scheduled to have our Senior Pictures done on Monday and Tuesday, July 8 & 9, which will be held at the Mena High School safe room. Even if you don't plan to purchase any senior pictures with Prestige, we still need to have your pictures taken for yearbook purposes. Mr. Andy Philpot, MHS yearbook adviser, has the master schedule for the appointment times for the students. If you haven't already, you will be receiving your appointment card in the mail from the Prestige photography company.
