The Mena FFA teams participated at the State Career Development Events on April 4th and 5th in Fayettville. These teams qualified by placing in the top 8 at the District level. The top 24 teams in the state competed at the State Contest. Mena FFA teams placed as follows:

This statewide competition for various categories in photography and multimedia is held each year by the Arkansas Association of Instructional Media through each school's library. Mena Middle School 8th grader Emily Holloway has made it to the semi-final round in Poetry Nation's National Poetry Competition. She will find out if she makes it to the finals in the upcoming months.
