Mr. Tyler Huntington, the MMS beginner band and the Middle School Band introduced 5th graders at Holly Harshman Elementary to the band experience on Tuesday. They were introduced to all the instruments, questions were answered & all were encouraged to participate in band when the enter 6th grade next school year.
Mrs. Craig's book club finished reading Lemony Snicket's The Reptile Room, or Murder!
In celebration for completing the book, Kambree Martin and her dad Paul Martin brought their 3 year old Ball Python to visit the class!
1st-6th grade students for the 2022-2023 school year are welcome to attend !

The Mena Little Cat Basketball Camp is happening June22nd-24th for boys in 1st-7th grades .

Holly Harshman Elementary prepared for ACT Aspire Testing next week with a Friday morning pep rally ! The HHE Cheer Team fired up the students, a group from MHS found a way to lose a round of Family Feud to HHE & the students were rewarded with a little glow stick fun at the end.
Safe to say that everyone had a big time at the Holly Harshman Elementary Student Showcase on Thursday !
The Holly Harshman Elementary Student Showcase happens on Thursday, April 21st.
We will be Packing the Ambulance at the Student Showcase with bottled water, hand sanitizer, lysol wipes, etc.
We will see you there !!!!

Athletes from the University of Arkansas Rich Mountain spoke to the 3rd,4th & 5th grade students at Holly Harshman on Friday about the importance of continuing your education after high school & how they used a skill set they were blessed with to make that happen. They also gave students a look inside their life as student/athletes.
