II. Reminders about your Chromebook:
Charge your Chromebook at home every evening.
Do not have your Chromebook open when you are outside for breakfast or lunch.
Do not use or have your Chromebook open at any time other than when you are in a
classroom and are seated.
III. Items in the Lost & Found box will be bagged up at the end of this week and donated to
PCDC. You have until lunch on Friday to get your missing coats, jackets, and other items.

Lauren Beck is a certified kind student at Mena Middle School. On her own she gathered donations from her church group to donate to Mrs. Chaney’s family who lost their home to a fire last week. Thank you Lauren and your church family for your thoughtfulness

February 1 st is the deadline to order a personalized yearbook.
II. From Mrs. Rose: This week we celebrate the Great Kindness Challenge. Challenge sheets
will be handed out today. Look for updates on the Challenge on Mrs. Rose's Google
Classroom. You can download the Great Kindness Challenge free from the App Store.

III. Attention 8 th Grade Students: Tomorrow, all 8 th grade students will take a tour of MHS.

then you will be taken to the high school from there. Please make every effort to come to
school tomorrow.
IV. Lunchtime Weather: Based on the current forecast, we should be able to go outside but
you will need to stay on the hard surfaces and out of the grass.

I. Reminders:

II. This is a reminder that we are not currently doing Flex Friday. Tomorrow, along with all
Fridays, is a regular school day until further notice.
III. If you stay home because you don’t feel well, you are not allowed to come to school just for
athletics, band, cheer, etc.
IV. 7 th & 8 th grade students: Please remember that at the end of your lunch period, ignore the
first bell you hear. That bell is for 6 th grade class change. The bell that ends your lunch
period rings 2 minutes later. Please do not enter the building on the first bell. This
schedule was set up this year for social distancing by limiting the number of students in the
hallways at once.
V. Lunchtime Weather: A decision will be made at lunchtime whether or not we will go
outside, based on the amount of standing water.
