Announcements for Tuesday, January 12 th
I. Reminder: We will continue to have school on Fridays during the month of January and
until we have more information about Flex.
II. Report cards were mailed on Monday, those with low grades in core classes received an “I”
and a letter about your options for this semester. It does require your parent to contact the
school regarding their choice.
III. Tutoring: remember, it’s available Monday through Thursday 3:30-4:30 and Monday
evening 5:30 – 6:30.
IV. Reminder: Students remember to bring your water bottles to school to stay hydrated.
V. Students: remember that your phones are not to be used in class unless the teacher
allows you for educational purposes.
VI. The last day to order a Yearbook with personalization, your name or icons, is January 29.
You can order online at Jostens.com. When Mrs. Lunsford returns to school next week,
order forms will be available at school.

Blended & virtual student meals for January 11th - January 15th may be picked up today at Louise Durham Elementary or Mena High School between 1 and 2 pm.
The Mena Jr. Girls bounced back from a loss on Monday & defeat Arkadelphia on Thursday at the Union Bank Center.

likely include incentives based on completed work.
II. HAC access is different. Students were sent an email with information regarding if they
forget a password. We no longer have access to that information.
III. Report cards will be mailed out this week. If you have low grades in core classes, you will
