Unfortunately, this year, we will not be able to have Grandparent's Read Week, so we are asking all MPS patrons to submit pictures of grandparents reading to their grandchildren.

Announcements for Thursday, September 10 th
I. From our school Resource Officer, Deputy Wagner: Several Middle School students are
walking across the bus lanes after school to get into a vehicle in the football field parking
lot. If you are a car rider, your parent MUST pick you up in the designated car-rider line.
This is a safety issue. Starting next week, the Deputy will begin talking with anyone who is
continuing to do this.
II. From Nurse Sherry: Immunizations notices have been given out. If you received one,
make sure you give it to your parents. Deadline for immunizations or having an
appointment for immunizations is Oct 1. These are required by the Arkansas Department
of health for students to remain in school or to participate in extracurricular activities such
as band, athletics, and cheer.
III. If you would like to order a letterman jacket for athletics, band, cheer, or choir, there are a
few forms in the front office. If we run out of forms you can visit www.ssrjackets.com
** Orders must be placed by September 23 rd

Mid-term progress reports will be given out next week.
