HUB Program Applications are available in Mrs. Buckley's office. If you are interested in the HUB program for 2020-2021, you are welcome to pick up an application in the office.
JAG Work Applications (upcoming juniors and seniors) are available for next year's JAG Work class. If you missed the priority deadline to turn in your application last Friday, see Mrs. Purvis in room 403 for more information.
If you did not order your 2020 Yearbook yet, this week will be your last chance to place an order before all final orders are submitted for printing on Friday. Yearbooks are $60, and can be ordered with cash or check. See Mr. Philpot in room 205 for more information or to place your last chance order.
Juniors will go to a college fair at UARM on Thursday from 10:00-11:15.


Gameday Tuesday!


There will be a college fair on Thursday, 2/27 from 10am-11:15am at UA Rich Mountain for Mena High School Juniors. Juniors should bring questions for the college you might want to attend!


Senior Parents or anyone willing to help with planning and/or working during after prom, we are having a meeting Thursday, 2/27 @ 6 in the Mena Middle School Library. If you can't come but would like to help, contact Michelle Schnell 234-1517 or Sheli Chaney 234-1137.


Announcements for Monday, February 24th
Reminders:
Quiz Bowl teams will have group photos taken after today’s announcements.
The 8th grade group photo will be taken next tomorrow during ACHIEVE.
This Friday is the deadline to order a yearbook and to register for Mena Youth League baseball & Softball.
We are starting to have an issue with letter and number keys being removed from the school Chrome Books and other devices. If you remove the keys, you are financially responsible for the repairs.
7th grade ETS students will be meeting today in the Cafeteria, and 6th grade ETS students will be meeting this Friday.
All 7th and 8th graders who signed up for next year’s cheer squad and who attended the mandatory meeting in Mrs. Breedlove’s room last week – There is a mandatory parent meeting this Wednesday, 5:30 pm, in the Mena High School Library. If you and at least one parent or legal guardian do not attend, you will not be allowed to try out for the cheer squad.

There will be a spring football parent meeting at 6:00pm on Tuesday, February 25, at the Mena High School Performing Arts Center. This meeting is for all guardians of incoming 7th grade through high school athletes. The summer schedule will be handed out and discussed.

FFA Members who are participating in the Sub-Area Leadership Events @ Cossatot High School on Monday will be leaving from the Ag Building at 4:30 p.m. Bring your official dress.

The Independent Living Class will have Hot Chocolate, Cappuccinos and Coffees for sale daily before school starts for $1.00 each. Stop by and see them in the hallway.

The Mena Ladycats lost to DeQueen in the 7-4A District Tournament Finals on Saturday by a score of 26-33. Mena will play in the 4A Regional Tournament in Crossett on Thursday 2/27 at 4pm. GO LADYCATS!

One week from today is the deadline to order a yearbook and to register for Mena Youth League baseball & Softball.
Students, if you have a class in the gym, you need to stay in the gym until the bell rings and do not roam around in the Cafeteria or halls.
Once again, there were several footballs, basketballs, etc left outside yesterday after both lunches. The ball box will be locked during both lunches for a few days.

The Benefit Game at Mount Ida will NOT be played Monday 2-24 due to weather and field conditions. The current plan is to play the game on Tuesday 2-25. Hopefully we will get good enough weather to get the game in.
