Kindergarten students continue to level up in Lexia!

35 students recently competed at FCCLA Region 5 STAR Events at the University of Arkansas Hope. We had students competing, volunteering and participating in a district wide service project throughout the day. Of the 8 competitions students participated in 5 of the teams/individuals are advancing to State Competitions in the spring with Silver medals! All of our kids that competed placed in the top three of their category however only Silver and Gold advance to State competition. State will be held in the spring and they will be competing to go to Nationals this July in Seattle, WA!!! PLTW provides access to real world, applied learning experiences that empower students to gain the skills they need to thrive in college, career and beyond in the areas of computer science, engineering and biomedical science.
