Mena High School FBLA attended the District 1 Spring Leadership Conference yesterday in Fort Smith. 39 members qualified to compete at State Conference by taking an objective test and/or participating in a performance event and 9 members are competing at state in state only events. Mena Middle School FBLA attended the District I Spring Leadership conference on Wednesday at the Fort Smith Convention Center along with Mena High School. The King of Hearts Pep Rally was held on Tuesday in the Union Bank Center. The 2023 Mena High School King of Hearts is Taeyon Anderton and the Jester is Gabe Corcoran. They will be recognized during halftime of the senior girls game this evening.

Congratulations to Madi Lyle on being selected to the Arkansas High School Coaches Association All-Star Volleyball Team. The 2023 All-Star games return to the campus of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway on June 23 and June 24.

They were there to recognize the January/February teacher of the month, students who showed growth in math and reading plus a kickoff to Kindness Week.
