StuCrew and BFI are sponsoring a Spirit Door Competition! Each Enrichment class is decorating their classroom door for Homecoming Week. Surprise judges will be brought in to judge them and the winner will be announced this Friday!
FCCLA dues are $15 and need to be paid by this tomorrow, October 8. Bring your dues to Mrs. Hobson or Mrs. Wilson. The FCCLA meeting that was scheduled for this Thursday has been cancelled, though.
Anyone interested in joining Sci-Fi Club this school year, there will be no dues this year, just sign up with Ms. Hooker to join! Even Blended students will have access to the Google Classroom.
If you did not turn in your flu shot form last Friday, Please bring your flu shot forms to Nurse Bobbi as soon as possible. The Flu Shot Clinic is scheduled for next Thursday, October 15.
The Fall Blood Drive will be next Tuesday October 13th. Please see Nurse Bobbi about donating blood if you are interested.
Thursday, October 8 - UCA College representative will be presenting periods 1-4 in the PAC during JAG classes. (including Enrichment). If you are an interested senior, not in JAG, come during Enrichment or make arrangements with Ms. Purvis to come during another period.

The Ladycats improved to 11-1 with a 3-0 win over Camden Fairview on Tuesday. The Sr. JV won 2-0. The Jr. JV won 2-0 & the Jr. Ladycats won 2-0. The Mena Sr. Girls will host Magnolia on Thursday at the UBC & the Jr. Girls will play at Bauxite on 10/12... GO LADYCATS!!!

The Dover Pirates have cancelled Friday's game with the Bearcats due to COVID. We are in search of another possible opponent and there will be an administrative meeting tomorrow morning to determine a plan for homecoming. We will provide updates as they become available.

IV. You have a four-day weekend coming up soon. There will be no school on Friday, October
16 th or Monday, October 19 th . More information will be given later about the 19 th , which will
be a “virtual day” while teachers are in training.
V. Several of you are apparently playing a type of game that involves slapping, hitting, or
kicking someone else. This “game” ends now. Anyone that is hitting, slapping, or kicking
another student will be facing either In-School Suspension or Out of School
Suspension.
VI. You all did much better with your trash yesterday. Keep up the good work.
VII. Reminder: Once you are finished eating, you must put your mask back on unless you are 6
feet or more away from the nearest person.
VIII. Reminder: If you go home with a fever, you are not allowed to return to school until you’ve

The Sr. Ladycats lost for the first time this season Monday at the UBC. Fountain Lake beat Mena 3-1.
