Mrs. Williams’ Classroom Spelling Bee Winners…1st Place-Adalynn McElveen and 2nd/3rd Place tie-Ava Vaughn and Daniel Woody!There were so many fantastic spellers…it was a very close competition!

Mrs. Holder’s class had a special guest reader today in honor of Veterans Day, Coach Rose. Our third-graders were so excited to see him and made cards to thank him for his service!

Mena High School art students have been hard at work designing and painting props for the school's upcoming play, The Hobbit.
Public Performances are scheduled for Saturday at 7:00pm and Sunday at 2:30pm in the MHS Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.

The Sr. teams will play Hackett on Tuesday at 6:00pm in the Union Bank Center.

Mena High School Theatre held dress rehearsal for "The Hobbit" on Monday. Public performances are scheduled for this weekend in the Mena High School Performing Arts Center. Saturday, November 15th at 7:00pm and Sunday, November 16th at 2:30pm.
Admission is $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students. School performances are planned next week.

The Bearcats are 6-4/3-4 and will play at Hamburg in the 4A Playoffs next Friday.

Theatre Squared performed "The Shakespeare Show" for Mena High School students on Friday.

Mena High School Senior Chloe Hooper, has been selected to participate in the first annual Arkansas Volleyball Coaches Association All Star Volleyball match as a member of the 2A-4A BLUE team.

This year's event will be held on Saturday, November 22nd at Greenbrier High School.
